N-Cyclohexylmaleimide
IMILEX-C (N-cyclohexylmaleimide) is a maleimide that Nippon Shokubai first commercialized in 1985 using its own manufacturing technology. It is a monomer that can impart heat resistance to various resins, and is widely sold both in Japan and overseas. For example, it is copolymerized with methyl methacrylate (MMA) and used in various materials such as optical materials and automotive parts.


The heat resistance of the polymer can be improved by copolymerizing MMA with a heat resistance improving monomer (IMILEX-C).
